Help Needed to Identify Suspect in Richmond Hill Case

Help Needed to Identify Suspect in Richmond Hill Case

York Regional Police (YRP) are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect linked to the reported sexual assault of a minor in Richmond Hill.

According to investigators, the incident took place on Dec. 10 around 7 p. m. The victim was at a business near Red Maple Road and High Tech Road, just east of Yonge Street, when a man approached, allegedly performed an indecent act, and touched the victim for sexual reasons.

The suspect is described as a male with medium skin tone, dark brown hair, and a moustache. During the incident, he was wearing a mustard jacket, a dark undershirt, a grey toque, and black shoes.

Authorities have released photos of the suspect in hopes that someone might recognize him.

If anyone witnessed the event or has information that could help with the investigation, police encourage you to come forward.
