TORONTO – York Regional Police are looking into a drive-by shooting that occurred in Richmond Hill early Wednesday after several rounds were fired at a home that had previously been targeted last fall.
Officers arrived at a residence on Bryson Drive around 4:55 a. m. after receiving reports of gunfire. The police stated that multiple shots were discharged from a vehicle, hitting both the house and a car parked in the driveway. Fortunately, there was no one inside the home at the time, and no injuries have been reported.
According to City News, Staff Sgt. Peter Cheung spoke to reporters at the scene and mentioned that the suspects did not leave their vehicle during the incident. Investigators suspect that two or more individuals were involved and fled the area in a grey Honda SUV. No descriptions of the suspects have been provided yet.
