RENFREW, Ont. – Ontario Provincial Police have named the individual who died in a shooting incident that occurred in Renfrew on Friday night. Authorities believe Jonathan Logan, a 41-year-old resident of Renfrew County, was specifically targeted. Officers responded to a call at a home on Vimy Boulevard just before 10:30 p. m. and discovered a victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Logan was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead. The suspect had already left the scene prior to police arrival and is still being sought. The investigation is ongoing. This report by The Canadian Press was first May 22, 2023.
