Fatal Collision Claims Two Lives on Highway 17

Fatal Collision Claims Two Lives on Highway 17

Two men have lost their lives after a head-on collision on Highway 17, east of Renfrew, Ont., according to provincial police.

The two drivers, aged 55 from Renfrew and 71 from Ottawa, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to OPP.

By 6:30 p. m., Highway 17 remained closed between Anderson and Goshen roads.

The OPP is continuing its investigation and is asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has dashcam footage to come forward.
