Even though their Eastern Conference road trip ended in disappointment, the Kitchener Rangers come back to The Aud with pride after a shootout defeat against the Peterborough Petes on Family Day.

The Blueshirts lost 3-2 after a shootout at the Peterborough Memorial Centre on Sunday, with Petes forward Kieron Walton scoring the decisive goal.

The Rangers managed to grab five out of a possible six points while on the road, including victories over the Ottawa 67’s and the Kingston Frontenacs.

The point earned on Sunday helped solidify their top spot in the Western Conference.

An important matchup is coming up this Friday when the Rangers take on the Windsor Spitfires at The Aud.
