A man from Belleville, Ontario has died after being hit by a vehicle on Old Highway 2 on Saturday night, according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
The pedestrian, who was in his 70s, was declared dead at the scene by authorities.
Old Highway 2 was closed off for several hours but has since been reopened to traffic.
