A man has lost his life following a single-vehicle accident involving a pickup truck close to Kaladar, Ont.
The crash took place around 3 p. m. on Friday near the intersection of Highway 41 and Highway 7, as reported by the Ontario Provincial Police.
According to OPP, the 64-year-old driver from Ottawa was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Highway 41 was shut down in both directions between Highway 7 and Flinton Road for about four hours on Friday afternoon but has since been reopened, according to police updates.
Kaladar is located roughly 160 kilometres southwest of downtown Ottawa.
