We are saddened to share the news of Michael’s passing on Sunday, November 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband to the late Janette Roehler for 54 years. He is survived by his beloved children Darcy, Darin (Patti), Derek (Tricia), and April (Tracy). Michael was a proud papa to Danielle (Joel Johnston), Chrystin, Cole, Dylan (Alex), Connor, Benjamin, and Curtis. He also enjoyed being a great-grandfather to Blake. Michael was a dear brother to the late Barbara (late Julius Kiss), late Art (Marlene), late Butch (late Sharon), Frank (Lyndia), Donald, Dan (Paula), Rosemary (Norm Kennette) and Mark (Cheryl). As a brother-in-law, he is remembered fondly by the late Charles (late Lil), Robert (Pat), late Jim (Cheri), late Tom (Rose), Norm (Pauline), Doris (late Jim Bourassa), Veronica Devreker (Marc Lanue), Sue (Dave Gates), Roger (Lorraine) and Anne Mc Fadden. He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Memorial Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Central Chapel (1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. 519-253-7234) on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 from 5pm to 8pm. The visitation will continue on Thursday, November 13 from 10am until the service begins in the Chapel at 11am.
