Michael Richard O’Mara peacefully passed away on September 9, 2025, surrounded by his family at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus, at the age of 62. He was the loving husband of the late Michelle O’Mara (née Mitchell, 2017). He was the son of Wally (Terry) Cushing. A caring father to James (Chawntel), Kody, Kelsey (Dustin), and Eric (Lauren). He took great pride in being a grandfather to Peyton, Hunter, Abel, Noah, Braxton, Hudson, Olivia, Zoey and Cruz.

Michael dedicated many years to Chrysler and was a proud member of Unifor Local 444. He also ran a successful cleaning business. Known for his hard work and generosity, he always found time for what he loved most: being out on the water boating and riding his Seadoo, as well as spending time with family and of course, Sam and Dizzy.

As per Michael’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will occur at Windsor Chapel – Banwell Chapel, located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor on Monday, September 15, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:30 p. m., followed by a chapel service at 4:30 p. m.

In memory of Michael, donations can be made to the Windsor Cancer Centre Foundation in honor of his late wife; these would be greatly appreciated by his family.

He will be missed deeply and remembered fondly by all who knew him – family and friends alike.
