Marta Cenic passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on May 3, 2026, at the age of 57. She was a devoted wife to Radomir Cenic and a caring mother to Ivana, Jelena, and Petar. Her family and everyone who knew her will miss her dearly. She was the beloved daughter of Marko and Soka Gledic.
Marta was a treasured sister-in-law to Vesna Radic (Boro) and Mile Cenic (Dijana), as well as a wonderful aunt to Borjana, Ognjen, Sandra, Bogdana, and Ugljesa. She also had close ties with cousins Sasa, Nada, Sandra, Nerka, George, Mile, Petar, and Nikola and took pride in being Godmother to Stefan, Nikolina, and Nedeljko Malic. Many dear friends and colleagues will also remember her fondly.
She had a passion for creativity through gardening, cooking, and baking-always finding joy in making special treats for loved ones. Over the years she enjoyed music and dancing. Marta worked at AP Plasman for over 20 years before retiring; this reflects her dedication and strong work ethic. People will remember her for her kindness and generosity along with the lasting memories she created in the hearts of those around her.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Location, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor (519-253-7235) on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 5:00 p. m. until 8:00 p. m., with prayers at 6:30 p. m. The visitation will continue Thursday, May 7, 2026 at Gracanica Serbian Orthodox Church located at 1960 Meldrum in Windsor from 10:30 a. m. until the Funeral Service begins at 11:00 a. m., followed by burial at Windsor Memorial Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations can be made to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre.
