After a long and meaningful life, we honor Marie Youssef (née Sleiman), who quietly passed away on Monday, July 13, 2026, at the age of 71, surrounded by her loving family.
Devoted wife of George Youssef for 47 wonderful years.
Caring mother of Marlene (Louis) Jacobs, Emile Youssef, and Robert (Kelly) Youssef.
Adored Tété of Lily, Mason, Raya, and Georgie-her greatest joy in life.
Daughter of Dalal (late Joseph) Sleiman and daughter-in-law of the late Emile (late Marie) Youssef.
Loving sister of the late Hayat (George), Najla (Mike), Zeina, Jeanette (Tony), Riva (Chris), Terese (Martin), Tony (Jill), Buck (Susan), and the late Bakhos.
Dear sister-in-law to Lilianne, Viviane (Naim), Christiane (Bassam), Joe (Marlene), Georgette, and Hanna (Souad).
Marie will be greatly missed by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
A faithful Catholic, Marie centered her life around God and found strength in her steadfast faith. She will be fondly remembered for her love of nature and birds as well as her dedication to running several businesses. Most importantly, she cherished her family-especially her grandchildren-who filled her life with happiness.
Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel Funeral Home – Banwell Chapel located at 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor on Thursday, July 16, 2026 from 2:00 p. m. to 4:00 p. m. and again from 6:00 p. m. to 8:00 p. m., with parish prayers at 7:00 p. m. A Funeral Mass will occur on Friday, July 17, 2026 at 11:00 a. m. at St. Charbel Parish located at 5700 Outer Dr., Oldcastle. Entombment will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery.
