It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of John Wolf’s passing at the age of 95. He was a loving husband to Elsie for 73 wonderful years. John was also a devoted father to Vicki Baumert (Frank, 2012) and a caring grandfather to Amanda and Natalie. He took great joy in being a great-grandfather to Riley and Spencer. He is survived by his sister Theresa Wiegand from St. Louis, Missouri. For about 25 years, John worked as an architectural draftsman with Giffels Associates, serving as job captain on numerous significant projects including the Windsor Raceway, Harrow Research Centre, Guelph Animal Care, Sarnia Hospital, the DEW Line across Canada’s northern regions, and Chrysler dealerships throughout Western Ontario. Later on, he became a teacher at St. Clair College where he instructed students in architectural drafting for over two decades. After retiring, he pursued his passion for woodworking and became skilled in marquetry.
