Barbara A. Grossman, 92, of Colonia, NJ, passed away peacefully in her loving home on June 27, 2025.

Barbara was born in Sudbury, Ontario Canada to Henry and Frieda Stager on February 16, 1933. She attended high school at Saint Mary’s and graduated in 1951. She went on to earn a degree/certificate in teaching. She worked as a school teacher in Kitchener Ontario Canada, became an American citizen in 1957, and continued teaching in New Providence and Colonia New Jersey.

Barbara met her husband Frank during a “pen pal” campaign with the troops during the Korean war and was married to him for 67 years. She is survived by Frank and three daughters: Arlene Antonellis, Sandra Eidson (with her husband David), Mary Ann Grossman (with her husband Walter Beland), and her two grandchildren Kyle and Bryan Eidson.

She was an excellent homemaker who got featured in local newspapers for her cooking, baking, and household tips which led to a job at Fortunoff department store as the lead cookware specialist. She loved to travel, especially to Aruba, and eventually worked for Eastern Airlines. Frank would come home from work to find suitcases packed ready for another adventure. She was caring, loving and kind; always willing to help others.

In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, wildlife and bird watching, fishing, cooking, baking, sewing, crafting, watching baseball and ice hockey, oil painting, and spending days at their cottage on Lake Owassa. She was passionate about being involved with Operation Smile Charity Organization.

Visitation will be held at Gosselin Funeral Home on Tuesday July 1st, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The day of funeral visitation will be on July 2nd, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Veteran Cemetery located at 350 Province Line Road Wrightstown New Jersey 08562 promptly at 1:00 P. M.

Memorial donations may be made to Operation Smile PO Box 758588 Topeka KS 66675 Web: https://www. operationsmile. org/ .

The family would like to thank all of you for being part of her life and enriching her spirit while she was with us. We all were blessed to have been part of her life.
