Mary Ruth Charpentier, originally named Mary Ruth Doyle, was born on December 29, 1940, in Toronto, Ontario. She passed away quietly on April 25, 2026. Her life was filled with warmth and kindness, impacting many with her gentle nature and caring heart.

Mary had a loving spirit and shared her warmth with everyone she met. One of her favorite times was spent with family at Wasaga Beach, a spot that brought her happiness and tranquility.

She is fondly remembered by her daughters Anne (Mike) Higgins and Janet (Ron) Burling. Mary’s love continues through her grandchildren, Melina and Kevin. She is also survived by her sisters Patricia (Don) Horan and Fran Mc Pherson, who hold her memory dear.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Delores Doyle; as well as her brothers Ron and Doug, along with sister Elaine.

Family and friends are welcome to honor Mary’s life during a visitation at Forrest & Taylor Funeral Home located at 20846 Dalton Road, Sutton, Ontario, on May 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass will be held on May 2, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 28118 Ontario 48, Georgina, Ontario with interment following at the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church Cemetery. After the Mass and interment services conclude, a gathering will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 356 located at 21 East Street in Georgina from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Mary Ruth Charpentier’s life was defined by the deep care she had for family and how she made those around her feel loved and appreciated. Her presence will be sorely missed but cherished by all who knew her.
