Marlene Butters
June 19, 1933 – January 20, 2018

Marlene passed away peacefully at Sunset Manor after a long and brave fight against Alzheimer’s. She will be greatly missed by her devoted husband of 62 years, Bill, along with her children Debbie (Mike) Synnott, Steven (Kim) Butters, Kim (Ron) Marriott, and Doug (Mandy) Butters. Her grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, Alesia, Stephanie, Kayla, Sydney, Alec, Victoria and Kate; as well as her great-grandchildren Isabelle, Emily, Aubrey and AJ will always hold her in their hearts. Born in Collingwood to Leonard and Lucinda Parrish; she is survived by her brothers Ron and Dale. A remembrance service will take place at Fawcett Funeral Home – Collingwood Chapel on Friday January 26, 2018 at noon with visitation starting one hour earlier. In lieu of flowers donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. The family expresses special gratitude to the staff at Sunset Manor South Simcoe for their compassion and care.
