Surrounded by loved ones, Enrico passed away peacefully at the Sault Area Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at the age of 90.
He was a devoted husband to Teresa for 67 years. As a loving father “Babuzzo” to Fiore (Sue), Eugenio “Gigi” (Trish), Richard (Teresa), Grace Dick (Graeme) and Patricia. He was a proud Nonno to Michael (Alyssa), Anthony (Marissa), Nikki (Chris), Enrico (Melissa), Madeline (Zach), Matteo and Carson. A joyful Bisnonno to Matteo, Luca, Lorenzo, Ricardo and Liliana. He was predeceased by his parents Grazia and Fioramante Ianni-Palarchio. He leaves behind his dear sister Luigina (late Egidio) Mannarino and brothers Michele (Nanda), Giovanni (late Tina), Fernando (Franca) and Mario (Nadia). He was also son-in-law to late Antonio and late Mafalda Buffone and brother-in-law to Joe Buffone (Cecile) and late Eugenio Buffone (Rosina Lamantea). A special Zio to many nieces and nephews. Enrico will be fondly remembered by numerous friends and acquaintances.
Enrico lived a colorful life filled with challenges and achievements in Campora San Giovanni, Cosenza, Italy as well as Northern Ontario. His tales are rich with Italian proverbs alongside his own unique expressions.
