With heavy hearts, we share that Marylou has started her final journey with the Lord, our Creator.
She is greeted by her parents Ernest and Margaret Strum (nee Fogal), sister Peggy Mc Donald, brother Ronald Strum and brother-in-law Tim.
Marylou is now looking over the love of her life Dan, her children Justin (Trista), Megan (Troy), Michelle (Jim), and her “little bakers”-the grandbabies Colson, Riley, Halen, Landon, Elexis, Oakley, Cohen, Aubrey and Hudson. She will always be remembered by her siblings Ed (Christa), Shorty (Janet), Garnet (late Edna), Carol (Phil), Barb (David) and Darrell (Julie) as well as Dan’s siblings Dar (Keenan), Chris (Patty) and Lori (late Cliff). Forever loved by her many nieces and nephews who affectionately called her “Aunt Looie” and her best friends Patsy and Lorna.
Marylou was the heart of our family and leaves us with many traditions from the kitchen that will continue in her memory.
She had a true relationship with the Lord and her church community. Her kindness and generosity were evident in how she treated everyone around her. For 43 years she was a proud member of the Bruce Mines Lions Club.
Marylou was as sweet as the butter tarts she baked and as warm as the bread she made.
The family would like to thank the nurses of 3C at SAH for their compassion and their dedication during this time.
If you wish to honor Marylou’s memory, donations can be made to the Bruce Mines Lions Club P. O Box 71 Bruce Mines, ON P0R1C0 or Lighthouse Community Church P. O Box 238, Bruce Mines, ON P0R1C0. Her family greatly appreciates it.
