Oakville Resident Charged in Shooting Incident

Oakville man among trio facing charges after targeted shooting

An Oakville resident is among several people taken into custody following a shooting that was aimed at specific individuals in Mississauga.

The incident occurred around 4:00 a. m. on Wednesday, September 3rd in Mississauga. According to Peel Regional Police, a white Ford Explorer pursued a white 2025 Ford Bronco Sport along Southdown Road, where nine shots were fired into the victims’ car, leaving one person with serious injuries.

18-year-old Emmanuel Daniel from Mississauga was arrested on Tuesday, October 7th and faces several charges:

Attempt Murder Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Discharge Firearm with Intent Careless Use of a Firearm, Weapon, Prohibited Device or Ammunition Occupant of Motor Vehicle Knowing there was Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of Firearm Aggravated Assault Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Selling or Possessing Counterfeit Marks

On Wednesday, October 29th, police executed a Criminal Code search warrant and took two more suspects into custody.

55-year-old Loreto Perruzza from Mississauga has been charged with:

Obstruct Justice Accessory After the Fact to Commit Indictable Offence

34-year-old Leone Francesco from Oakville faces charges for:

Obstruct Peace Officer Public Mischief – Make False Statement Accessory After the Fact to Commit Indictable Offence

Both Perruzza and Francesco were released under conditions and are set to appear in court later.
