BURLINGTON, ON

 

The 13th annual Oakville Festivals of Film & Art (OFFA) is set to take place from June 17th to June 27th, spanning both Oakville and Burlington, Ontario.

During this festival, you’ll find over 100 Canadian and international films featuring romance, comedy, and inspiring documentaries and shorts throughout the ten days. Most screenings will occur in Oakville.

The Burlington segment of the Film Festival begins at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre with “Kickoff: the Beautiful Game on Screen.” This special OFFA launch highlights how soccer brings communities together worldwide.

Burlington 2026 Red Carpet Gala Highlights:

Wednesday June 17th – Kickoff: The Beautiful Game on Screen

The special OFFA launch event in Burlington takes place on Wednesday, June 17th at 7:00 PM at the Burlington Performing Arts Centre.

This event features freestyle soccer performances with acrobats and dancers like Dennis Thompson & friends, jugglers, soccer trivia games, and more! There’ll also be door prizes and photo ops with soccer stars. Sponsored by Black and White Media along with Burlington Economic Development & Tourism.
