A man from Kitchener has lost his life following a three-vehicle accident between New Hamburg and Shakespeare.
According to the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the incident took place on Tuesday afternoon around 2:30 p. m. at the intersection of Highway 8 and Road 104.
The crash involved three vehicles, one of which was a motorcycle.
The motorcyclist, aged 61, was declared dead at the scene.
Three individuals in the other two cars were taken to the hospital. Their injuries were reported as not life-threatening.
The area was closed off for about seven hours while emergency services responded to the situation.
No details regarding what caused the crash have been released, and no charges have been filed so far.
The OPP is asking anyone who saw the accident or may have video evidence to get in touch with them.
