What game show mentioned Kitchener and a well-known spot with a quirky name in Wilmot Township on Wednesday?

In its latest episode, Jeopardy posed a question that asked contestants to identify the Canadian province that includes Kitchener, Brantford, and Punkeydoodles Corners, an amusing landmark in Wilmot.

James, who was competing on Wednesday night’s episode, gave the right answer: “What is Ontario?”

This mention caught the attention of trivia fans across Waterloo Region and also Kitchener Mayor Berry Vrbanovic.

Jeopardy is currently in its 42nd season and is hosted by Ken Jennings.
