Halton police are looking into a single-vehicle crash that happened Sunday afternoon in Burlington, which resulted in the death of one woman and left one man with serious injuries requiring hospitalization.
According to officers, around 12:40 p. m., a white minivan was involved in a crash near North Service Road, just east of Brant Street.
A 69-year-old woman who was inside the vehicle was taken to a trauma hospital outside the region, where she later passed away.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision due to its severity and the injuries incurred.
