Barrie police report that officers found a vehicle in a home’s driveway that had been hit by bullets; no injuries have been reported.
The city police are looking into a shooting that took place in northeast Barrie this morning.
At around 5:30 a. m. on May 8, police received calls about multiple shots being fired at a house on Hickling Trail, close to Nelson and Grove streets.
Authorities say officers discovered a vehicle in the driveway that had sustained gunfire damage. Thankfully, there were no injuries.
Police believe this incident was targeted.
Multiple bullet casings were found at the scene, and members of the forensic identification unit were present to gather evidence.
Residents in the neighborhood can expect to see police continuing their investigation and asking for any additional information.
