Barrie Police took a man into custody on Thursday morning after he was accused of performing an indecent act near a school in Barrie.
Authorities say the event took place at The Good Shepherd Catholic School on Cloughley Drive around 7:40 a. m. Witnesses indicated that the man was present in the schoolyard while parents were dropping off their kids.
Officers found the man not far from the scene before making the arrest. Investigators later discovered he had 14 debit and credit cards that were not his own, according to police.
The 28-year-old suspect from Barrie is facing charges of committing an indecent act in public and breaching recognizance.
