It is with sadness that we share the news of Beverly Anne Mc Lean’s passing at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Grimsby on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at the age of 86. Beverly will always be loved and remembered by her husband Thomas, who stood by her side for 64 years. She was a caring and dedicated mother to Ian (Tracy), Leta Mc Lean, David, and the late Alison Mc Lean. Her dear sister Linda Murray (Bill) will also miss her greatly. She was predeceased by siblings Katherine Carothers (late Clark), Eileen Mac Kay (late Bob), Myra Mac Donald (late Tom), Una Martineau (late Dan), Bayne Bruce (Beth), as well as her parents Robert “Wally” and Flora Bruce.

Beverly grew up in Mac Lennan, Ontario, “down-the-line” from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. There she developed a love for nature and wildlife. Later on, she and Tom created a home near Desbarats Lake where they could pass down their appreciation of the outdoors to their family. She enjoyed pointing out various birds and flowers and loved watching the clouds roll by. The family pets were very important to her; the dogs were her companions while she found great entertainment in watching the cats.

Beverly often explored the bush country with her father along with her siblings. Being the youngest of seven children, she always spoke fondly of her brothers and sisters. People knew her for her engaging stories, sharp humor, and strong will.

In recent years, Beverly spent quality time with Tom at Jah-Jireh Retirement Home in Beamsville where they made many new friends together. We want to express our gratitude to the wonderful staff at Jah-Jireh for their kindness towards Beverly and Tom. Special thanks also go to Dr. S. Baker, Dr. E. Blake, the Physio Team, and nurses in C Ward at West Lincoln Memorial Hospital for their exceptional care during this time.

Following Beverly’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private celebration of her life will be held for family members only. If you wish to honor her memory further, memorial contributions to The Jah-Jireh Retirement Residence, West Lincoln Memorial Hospital or Watch Tower Bible & Tract Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
