Police in York Region are looking for anyone who might have seen something after nine speed enforcement cameras were damaged in Vaughan.

The damage occurred at three different locations throughout the city between January 11 and April 24, according to a news release from York Regional Police on Wednesday.

The most recent incident comes right after a speed enforcement camera on Parkside Drive in Toronto was taken down for the fourth time at the end of April.

This also follows news that Toronto is planning to double its number of speed cameras across city streets.

York police mentioned they have charged one person involved in one case but are still hoping others will step forward regarding the other two incidents.

Authorities encourage anyone with information to reach out or provide tips anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
