If you’re a student or job seeker looking for holiday work in retail, head over to the Oshawa Centre shopping mall this Wednesday and Thursday for the annual Fall Job Fair.
This event will be held at the mall’s Centre Court and offers immediate applications, same-day interviews, and a chance to secure a job before the holiday rush. You can find part-time positions, seasonal jobs, and even some long-term career opportunities.
Some of the retailers taking part include Sport Chek, Saje Natural Wellness, Purdy’s Chocolatier, Oshawa Jewellery, Foot Locker, Guess, Little Burgundy, Call It Spring, The Body Shop, Specsavers, Bikini Village, Soft Moc, Roots, and La Vie en Rose.
To enhance community engagement further, Oshawa Centre recently brought the ‘Catch the Campus Claw’ truck to Durham College and Trent University Durham to surprise students with games, prizes, and gift cards leading up to the fair.
“This fall, we’re not only helping job seekers connect with employers; we’re also engaging the student community in fun, rewarding ways,” said Oshawa Centre’s Mariam Habib. “Events like the Campus Claw and this Job Fair highlight our commitment to making the mall a place where people can shop, work, grow, and thrive.”
