Increasing Presence Instead Of Just Response”
Broader Service Gaps
A serious overnight incident in Oakville has reignited calls for increased police and emergency service resources across Hawkesbury as well as Sydney’s north-west growth corridor.. The alleged attempted home invasion involving arson threats using firearms has left many residents uneasy while also raising broader questions about whether local services can keep up with rapid population growth occurring within these communities. This area includes suburbs such as Oakville where housing developments expand increasingly towards traditionally semi-rural zones. <p“However,” community leaders argue “investment in frontline services hasn’t kept pace.” This demonstrates how stretched local resources can become when serious incidents arise despite prompt responses given by officers from Hawkesbury Police Area Command alongside specialist units like Pol Air/Dog Unit during Saturday’s event.Increasing Presence Instead Of Just Response”
