Today, Durham police reported that at about 5:40 a. m. on Sunday, May 3, they were called to a fire in the Catalina Manor and Alexander Knox Road area.
When they arrived, officers helped firefighters manage traffic while they worked to put out three separate fires.
All of the houses were still being built and were empty at the time of the incident.
No injuries have been reported to police.
Authorities say that further investigation showed that around 5:15 a. m., three possible suspects were spotted nearby.
