Two individuals, including a teenager, suffered serious injuries after a crash in Scarborough.
Emergency responders in Scarborough are looking into a serious two-car accident that left one driver with life-threatening injuries late Friday night.
According to a news release from Toronto police, the incident occurred around 11:15 p. m. at the intersection of Lawrence Avenue East and Markham Road.

Investigators report that an 18-year-old man driving a white 2018 Toyota Camry was heading west on Lawrence Avenue East when it collided with a grey 2015 Lexus ES 300 driven east by a 36-year-old man who was trying to make a left turn into a plaza.
Police state that the driver of the Lexus was thrown from the vehicle.
The 36-year-old Lexus driver was quickly taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Traffic officials are conducting the investigation.
