A man has died after his motorcycle veered off the road and struck trees just west of Perth, Ont.
The accident took place around 6:15 p. m. on Friday on Upper Scotch Line in Tay Valley Township, as reported by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The 43-year-old victim from Carleton Place was transported to a local hospital where he was declared dead, police indicated.
A section of Upper Scotch Line was closed until early Saturday morning but has since reopened.
