Antonio passed away peacefully on November 5, 2019, at the age of 94, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband to the late Maria (2016) for 67 years. He is survived by his children Mario (Trish), Angela Hanson (John Billington), Anne (Gerry) Dube, Elena (Frank) Piccolo, and Anthony (Sara). He was a beloved Nonno to Chris (Sondra), Michael (Kristin), David, Jason (Sue), Nadia (Michael), Danielle, Lauren, Anthony, Eric, Marisa and great-grandfather to Jax, Scarlett, Macy, Kinley, Gemma, Vienna, Annebelle and Charlie. He has been reunited with his parents Enrico and Arcangela Cervi. He was also the dear brother of the late Francesco (the late Carmela), the late Laura (the late Domenico), the late Armando (the late Letizia), the late Giussepe (Ersilia) and Maria (the late Benedetto). Many nieces, nephews and friends will miss him deeply.

Antonio was born in San Pietro, Frosinone, Italy on December 16, 1924. He immigrated to Canada in 1954 after enduring the Second World War and serving as a Carabinieri. He built a career in construction starting in Toronto with his brother before settling in Windsor where he brought over his wife and children from Italy. His loves included family gatherings, hunting trips, gardening activities and enjoying delicious food paired with good wine while making memories with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Tony played an important role as one of the founding members of the Ciociaro Club of Windsor.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at Chartwell Oak Park La Salle for their excellent care along with Dr. Peter Scarfone, Dr. Sheri Bergeron and WRH Ouellette Campus 7 West staff for their outstanding compassionate service.

<p. For those who wish to contribute in some way, donations to the Alzheimer Society Windsor & Essex Co. would be greatly appreciated by his family.
