The Maitland Valley Conservation Authority (MVCA) is hosting public consultations for an upcoming coastal conservation project in Goderich.

After the drop-in sessions focused on coastal resilience that took place in July at the Goderich Library, the MVCA is now encouraging residents to provide further feedback on the Goderich Restoration Complex. This includes plans for artificial reefs and a sand nourishment site located south of the Dog Run.

Project details can be found through the Navigation Protection Program public notice. It contains information about the project, along with guidance on how to review documents and submit comments. The notice is available on Maitland Conservation’s website at mvca. on. ca.

The MVCA emphasizes that public input is crucial and will help shape this coastal resilience initiative moving forward.

For additional information, reach out to Patrick Huber-Kidby at MVCA [email protected].
