A teenager from Brampton is facing charges for an indecent act at a beach in Grand Bend, according to provincial police.
The Lambton OPP reported that officers were called to the beach around 5 p. m. on Sunday following allegations of an indecent act.
A 19-year-old has been charged with performing an indecent act in a public place. He is set to appear in court in Sarnia on August 31.
Individual in Critical Condition After Assault and Fire: OPP
A resident of Tillsonburg has been charged after another person suffered life-threatening injuries due to an assault and fire over the weekend, say provincial police.
According to Oxford OPP, police, fire crews, and paramedics were dispatched to the Prospect Street area around 4:45 p. m. Saturday regarding a reported assault. The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries and remains critically injured.
During this response, emergency services also had to attend to a structure fire on Prospect Street, police mentioned.
Oxford OPP stated that they maintained a heightened police presence while the investigation was carried out by various units including dog and county crime units as well as the West Region emergency response team.
A 41-year-old individual from Tillsonburg faces charges of aggravated assault and arson. They are being held until a bail hearing.

Essex Man Fined $3,000 for Illegal Deer Hunting
An Essex man has received a $3,000 fine after admitting guilt for unlawfully hunting during a controlled deer hunt in Southwestern Ontario.
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources shared that he was convicted in the Ontario Court of Justice for participating in an early-season controlled deer hunt without proper validation.
The court heard that on November 4, 2025, while enforcing rules during the muzzle-loading-only controlled deer hunt in West Elgin, a conservation officer found the hunter who had tagged a deer while involved in a party hunt.
An inspection revealed that he was not correctly validated for participation in that early November controlled hunt as per ministry guidelines.
The ministry further indicated that investigations showed this Essex resident had previously committed the same violation during the controlled deer hunt in 2024.
As part of their investigation process, officials seized the deer which was later donated. The man pleaded guilty to unlawfully hunting during this regulated event and faced fines totaling $3,000.
This case was reviewed by justice of the peace Clive L. M. Forbes at the Ontario Court of Justice located in St. Thomas on May 13.
