Students, teachers, staff, and residents near Captain Michael Vanden Bos Public School in Whitby will get a special treat on the first day of school.
The Snowbirds team is planning a flyover of the public elementary school on Tuesday, September 8 as students return to class.
This event is set for 1 p. m., but keep in mind that it might be adjusted due to weather conditions or other factors.
The school honors Captain Michael Vanden Bos, a Snowbirds pilot who tragically lost his life during a training flight close to Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan in 1998.
