(David Ritchie/CHCH News) Ontario Provincial Police have shut down Eastport Drive and Beach Road following a deadly accident involving a motorcycle and another vehicle on Friday. Officers report that a car turned in front of the motorcycle on Eastport Drive beneath the Burlington Skyway. A freelancer informed CHCH News that the incident took place around 2 p. m. The motorcyclist was declared dead at the scene. Police announced in a post on X just before 4 p. m. that drivers should prepare for delays for several hours as the investigation continues.
