Stanley M. Oatman passed away peacefully with his wife and family by his side on Wednesday December 11, 2024 at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital.
He was a loving husband to Vivian and was predeceased by his son Stanley F. Oatman (January 29, 2022). He was a dear father-in-law to Julie Oatman and a proud Grandpa to Wesley, Allysha (Mitchell), Jamie, and Billie. He also enjoyed being a Great Grandpa to Milo and Jack. Stan is survived by his brother Albert (Linda) Oatman and sister Nancy (Aime) Dupuis. His sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Patricia (Jim) Docheff, Richard Branton, Jeannette Branton, and Helen Branton will miss him dearly as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, granddaughter Jessica Oatman, sisters Shirley Oatman and Carol Munro, nephew Andrew Munro, father-in-law and mother-in-law, along with brother-in-law Eugene Branton.
Stan had a passion for talking about and working on cars. Family barbeques were some of his favorite times spent together, along with watching his favorite television shows. Above all else, he prioritized family above everything else.
Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations to VON Sakura House or the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated by his family.
