Margaret Reaume passed away peacefully on June 2, 2026, at the age of 87, surrounded by her loving family. She is now reunited with her dear husband of over 60 years, Lawrence (2022). She was a devoted mother to Anne Marie Fantin, Kevin Reaume (Janet), David Reaume, and Renee Mc Cann (Mike). As a proud grandmother, she adored Craig Dunn (Amelia), Eric Fanitin, Jocelyn Fantin, Eastin Reaume (Kat), Taylor Frye (Derrick), Kimberly Premrl (Aleks), Kristy Grant (Alex), Kara Forrest (Scott) and many great-grandchildren. She was also a caring sister to Mary-Lou Purvis (late Charles) and Roy Lucier (Debra). Predeceased by her parents Roy and Irene Lucier and brother-in-law Francis Reaume (Doris), she will be missed by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Margaret graduated from Hotel Dieu School of Nursing and spent her life as a compassionate nurse who cared deeply for others.

Her family was everything to her. The time spent with loved ones brought her the most joy. Summers on Manitoulin Island were especially treasured as they created lasting memories together.

A strong-willed woman full of resilience, she touched everyone around her with kindness and love. Her unwavering spirit will always be remembered by those who knew her.

The family wishes to express gratitude to the staff at The Hospice of Windsor, particularly Mikayla for their dedicated care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at WINDSOR CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME – BANWELL CHAPEL, 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519-253-7235) on Monday, June 8, 2026 from 2-4 pm and again from 6-8 pm. Prayers will take place at 7:00 pm followed by cremation.

If you’d like to honor Margaret’s memory in a kind way, donations can be made to St. Francis Advocates (7346 Arkona Rd., Arkona, ON N0M 1B0).

You can share your online condolences and cherished memories with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
