In a major update in an ongoing case, divers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) marine unit recently searched Lake Calabogie for clues connected to the murder of Jonathan Logan. Logan, 41, was shot and killed on May 19, 2023, at a residence on Vimy Boulevard in Renfrew, Ontario. This area is about a 20-minute drive south of Lake Calabogie. The dive operation on August 4, 2026, follows the announcement of a $50,000 reward for information that could help solve the case. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the person responsible for the crime remains unknown and escaped before police arrived at around 10:30 p. m. that night.
