Pamela Johnson, 75, of Ontario, NY, passed away on July 13, 2026.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Johnson; son, Kyle Johnson; daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Jorge Degro; granddaughter, Zoe Degro; brother, Rodney Vane; along with nieces and nephews.
Pamela had a deep love for her family. She enjoyed reading books, baking treats, and sharing tea and chocolate while chatting with friends. As a passionate advocate, she dedicated many hours to working with lawmakers to secure funding for programs supporting individuals with disabilities. Before her illness struck, Pamela and James explored numerous trails in the Finger Lakes and Upstate New York while also enjoying travels to various destinations. Many of their adventures were inspired by her favorite stories and places rich in history and lore-like their dream trip to Nova Scotia.
A private service and interment will be held.
