A 25-year-old man has been taken into custody related to a deadly attack in a Brampton parking lot last week, according to Peel police.
The suspect and the victim got into a verbal argument that turned physical, in a parking lot close to Castlemore Road and Mc Vean Drive on Jan. 12, as stated by Peel Regional Police in a news release.
The victim sustained severe injuries during the incident and passed away in the hospital on Jan. 15, police report.
On Tuesday, officers arrested and charged a Brampton resident with manslaughter. He is currently being held pending a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with information to contact investigators or Crime Stoppers.
