Authorities are advising residents to steer clear of a home in east Mississauga, where numerous officers are present negotiating with an individual experiencing a crisis late Tuesday afternoon.
Peel Regional Police confirmed that the person involved is “contained within a residential unit” on Scottsburg Crescent, located just north of Burnhamthorpe Road East and west of Dixie Road.
The police received the call around 1 p. m., and a “large police presence” remained on-site by 5 p. m.
No further information has been released by Peel police.
