The remains of a man from Quebec who had been reported missing have been discovered in a pond northwest of Tillsonburg.
William Anthony David Sanchez, 39, was last seen at around 4 a. m. on Sunday when he left Spring Lake RV Park. He had come from Quebec to Oxford County to visit family.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police, officers found Sanchez’s body in a pond on Prouse Road at about 12:35 p. m. on Thursday.
Police haven’t disclosed if they suspect any foul play.
An autopsy is set to take place to figure out the cause of death.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to police.
