A man who is accused of murdering his parents in Mississauga over a week ago has been apprehended.

Peel Regional Police announced on Sunday that 46-year-old Jordan Sangwin, who was wanted on a Canada-wide warrant, was taken into custody on Saturday in Etobicoke.

“Jordan was found in the area of Mimico Creek Park in a makeshift shelter,” Mc Cann informed reporters.

He was then handed over to Peel Regional Police and formally charged with two counts of first-degree murder.

Peel Insp. Mike Mavity mentioned that they’ve received over 25 tips regarding possible sightings of Sangwin during the past 10 days from both Peel Region and Toronto.

Police responded to a home on June 18 near Hurontario Street and Lakeshore Road East in Mississauga following reports of an assault.

Upon arrival, officers discovered a 70 and 71-year-old suffering from life-threatening injuries. They were later pronounced dead at the scene.

The authorities indicated that it’s not believed Sangwin lived with his parents.
