MEILLEUR, Ronald Keith

December 3, 1939 – June 20, 2026

With great sadness, we share the news of Keith’s passing at the age of 86, surrounded by his loving family.

He was the devoted husband of the late Sandra (née Downie) and was predeceased by his parents, Jerome and Marie-Ange. He was a caring father to Brenda; the late Chris (Trudy); Renee Pare (Darryl); and Pamela Arundine (Claudio). As Grampa, he held a special place in the hearts of Colin, Jordan, the late Trevor and Megan, Jessie, Jordan, Jaiden, Jacob, Taylor, Darien, Ashton, Cruz, Nico, and Noah. He was also a beloved brother to Darlene and Mickey (Ann), as well as to the late Jimmy and Pete. Many extended family members and friends will miss him dearly.

Keith enjoyed a long career at Chrysler before retiring after 35 years. His co-workers affectionately called him “The Candy Man.” In retirement, he embraced camping adventures and thrived in his favorite role as Grampa.

His passion for the Montreal Canadiens and music lasted a lifetime. Beyond singing professionally with his family band, Keith shared his love for music by performing on Saturday mornings at Mc Donald’s located at Wyandotte St. E. and Pillette Rd for local seniors.

With a warm smile always ready to lend a hand to those in need, Keith won over everyone who knew him. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

Visitation is set for Windsor Chapel Funeral Home (Central Chapel), 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E., on Thursday, June 25 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Prayers will be held at 7:30 pm.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Windsor and Essex County. Online condolences and treasured memories may be shared with the family at www. windsorchapel. com
