The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are looking into the death of a resident from Chatham.
Authorities say they were alerted just before midnight on July 25 about a 33-year-old individual from Chatham who was taken to the hospital with severe injuries and later pronounced dead.
Investigators believe that the victim might have suffered injuries due to an incident on River Line at Delaware Nation in Moraviantown, and they are examining the details surrounding this tragic event.
“The circumstances that resulted in the fatal injuries remain under investigation. Investigators are working to determine what occurred and are urging anyone with information to come forward,” the OPP said.
No names have been released by the OPP as of yet.
