A stronger police presence can be seen in a Tecumseh neighborhood as authorities conduct what’s being termed a sudden death investigation.
Details are still limited, but officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Tecumseh detachment arrived at Chornoby Crescent near Westlake Drive around 5:30 p. m. on Thursday.
Tecumseh Fire and Rescue along with Essex-Windsor EMS were also present at the location.
“The investigation is in its early stages, and residents of the area should expect to see an increased police presence,” said OPP Constable Chris Ciliska. “There is no threat to public safety.”
More information will be shared as it becomes available.
