The Township of Wellington North has recognized nine local volunteers with Ontario Volunteer Service Awards.
The 2026 award recipients were celebrated at a ceremony held in Mount Forest on Thursday.
This year’s honorees include Noah Seddon, Reuben Seddon, Abigail Geiger, Henry Curtis, Vern Job, Elsa Mann, Marlene Markle, Mike Marshall, and Darryl Woods.
These individuals dedicate numerous hours to various community organizations such as Wellington North Ringette, Mount Forest Leos Club, Arthur Optimist Club, Mount Forest Lions Club, the HOPE Committee, Mount Forest and District Arts Council, Arthur Lions Club, and many more.
The township states that these citizens all possess a “generosity, sense of leadership and commitment that help make Wellington North a stronger, more connected and welcoming community for everyone.”

On behalf of Council and staff at the Township of Wellington North, congratulations and thank you for everything you do to help make our community a great place to live, work and raise a family,” said Mayor Andy Lennox.
