A little boy from Whitby has been chosen to represent Team Canada at the World Youth Chess Championship.
Sirhan, who is only 6 years old, will take part in the under-7 category in Spain.
While the tournament registration and lodging are taken care of, the family needs funds for flights, expenses for an accompanying parent, and coaching.
The family has set up a Go Fund Me campaign with a target of raising $2,600.
