VAUGHAN, ON, Oct. 20, 2025 /CNW/ – Walmart Canada has just opened its most advanced distribution centre in Vaughan, Ontario, which is a major milestone in enhancing services for customers and the surrounding community. This 550,000-square-foot facility is Walmart’s first Ambient Distribution Centre (ADC) in Canada and uses innovative automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence to ensure products reach families across Ontario faster and more reliably.

Walmart Canada’s new Vaughan ADC focuses on enhancing both customer experience and associate well-being by ensuring products are processed quickly while maintaining safety standards. With advanced AI-driven warehouse management systems alongside autonomous forklifts and automated storage solutions, this high-tech facility allows Walmart Canada to ship up to 70 million cases each year.

550,000 sq ft., standing at 94 ft tall built vertically to maximize space usage thereby enhancing operational efficiency while minimizing overall footprint.
