Vaughan, Ontario – October 16, 2025 – Walmart Canada has opened its most advanced distribution centre today in Vaughan, Ontario. This marks a key development in enhancing service for customers and the local community. The facility spans 550,000 square feet and is the retailer’s first Ambient Distribution Centre (ADC) in Canada. It utilizes advanced automation, robotics, and artificial intelligence to ensure products reach families across Ontario faster and more reliably.

The new Vaughan ADC focuses on both customer satisfaction and associate experience by ensuring that products can move quickly while maintaining safety standards. With advanced AI-driven warehouse management systems, autonomous forklifts, and automated storage solutions in place, this modern facility allows Walmart Canada to ship up to 70 million cases each year.

A massive 550,000 sq. ft., standing at 94 ft tall; designed vertically to maximize operational efficiency while reducing overall footprint.
